Mallards win Super Sixes!
Mallards are the Champions of our Super Sixes competition after defeating local rivals and league leaders Riding Mill in the final.
After finishing in the top two of our league table, it was to Virtual Lord's for Riding Mill and Mallards for the final of our Super Sixes competition.
Kiel Zurawlew started well for Riding Mill, hitting a fine 40 from 27 balls, before Graeme Bowman added an unbeaten 24 from 11 deliveries in a total of 109-5, Dave Cox bowling a fine final over (2-8).
Usman Amin took 2-12 for Riding Mill in the opening over, but 37 from Mark Butcher and 19 from Steve Kent helped Mallards to a four-wicket victory with an over to spare to seal the title.
