Andoversford win Wolf Cricket Champions League!


Andoversford have been crowned as our first Wolf Cricket Champions League winners as they gained revenge on Knockout Winners Bosbury II in the final.
Sean Jones started the final in perfect fashion for Bosbury II with a maiden - Alan Lancett running out Ed Watchorn to leave Andoversford 0-1.

Joe Conway made 26, but 2-16 from Alex Tyrer helped to reduce Andoversford to 50-6 at the halfway stage.

A vital partnership from Nathan Parsons (22*) and Jamie Perkins (26) got Andoversford up to 114-7 from their ten overs.
Dave Daffin was the first Bosbury II wicket to fall, bowled by Julian Strong for 7, but Tom Smith and Neil Hirons steadied the ship, making 22 and 35 respectively.

Despite this, Bosbury II were unable to keep up with the required run rate, and wickets in each of the 7th, 8th and 9th overs, Rich Cerrone with 1-6.

A hectic final over leaked 19 runs, but Andoversford held on for a 12-run victory with Bosbury II ending on 102-4.
